Patriot Painting Co. owner Don Fain grew up in southern Oregon. He graduated from Western Oregon University in Monmouth, Oregon, where he played baseball. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps for four years, where he served as a Military Police Officer and Presidential Service Support Specialist, attaining the rank of Sergeant. Don served the City of Bend and the central Oregon community for 19 years as a Police Officer.
While completing his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice studies, Don was a painter for a licensed contractor in southern Oregon. He learned the invaluable skills of professionally painting the interiors and exteriors of homes and businesses, restoring decks, fences, and other wooden structures, and restoring concrete surfaces.
Don volunteers his time to little league and Central Oregon Fastpitch (Avalanche). Don has previously volunteered at the Bend Re-Store, Bend Habitat for Humanity, Summit, and Bend High Schools (baseball coach), and to the Disabled American Veterans.
Don will be the first to tell you, “If you are going to do something/anything, do it to the best of your ability.”
This mindset has proven extremely valuable and practical in the painting business. There are numerous customers of Patriot Painting Company that would agree.
